Cleopatra Island (Sedir Island) in the Gokova Gulf is famous for its beach of tiny, round golden grains that, as the legend goes, were shipped from Egypt for Cleopatra herself. Next to the beach are the ruins of ancient Kedreai, including a well-preserved theatre.
About three hours are spent on the island, then the boat continues to Fine Sand Bay, Deep Blue Bay and Rabbit Island for more swimming. A Turkish lunch, unlimited soft drinks and the island entrance fee are included, along with hotel transfers.
